Now that Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam has signed the bill allowing cannabis oil to be used for seizure patients, how are medical marijuana advocates reacting? The bill will let those seizure patients bring cannabis oil with a very low dose of T-H-C, which is the active ingredient in marijuana that causes the high, into the state as long as they have a prescription from a doctor.
We talked with Seth Green who suffers from cerebral palsy, and seizures, and says this bill doesn’t go far enough. “They’re not thinking about the whole picture”. “They’re not thinking about people that has cancer, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy like me, or anything like that. They’re only focusing on one particular illness.” Green said
